THE WOMEN IN INDUSTRY SERIES
— 庆祝 —
100 YEARS OF WOMEN AT VIRGINIA TECH
In honor of 100 years of women at Virginia Tech, we’re launching the (first-ever) Women in Industry Series.
Since 1921, our institution has seen thousands of trailblazing women make their mark on the world. These women have transformed industries and shattered glass ceilings. 在这个过程中, they’ve inspired and created new possibilities for the next generation of Hokie alumnae.
In this exclusive virtual series, our very own Dawn Jefferies, senior producer for strategic initiatives, travels around the nation to capture stories of Hokie women at work as they share their journeys.

The Women in Industry series started as Women in STEM. As Virginia Tech hosted in-person networking and panel discussions around the country, alumni shared that while they may not see themselves in "STEM", the topics and experiences discussed resonated with everyone. In an effort to be more inclusive, Women in Industry was born.
